If you are a dreamer, come in...

I was recently reminded of the enjoyment I used to get from reading poetry. I can remember when I was younger I would sit and read for hours. I like silly poems, classic poems, childhood poems, poetry in music, etc.

I invite you to join me in revisiting this pastime. If you have a favorite poem you would like me to post, let me know and I would be happy to run it for you. My goal is to post a new poem everyday Monday through Friday. Over the weekend, I will have a poll where you can vote on which poem is your favorite. The winner will be posted on my other site Life Happens for Poetry Wednesday.

For the remainder of this week, I will feature some of Shel Silverstein's shorter poems.

Listen To The Mustn'ts

Listen to the Mustn'ts child, listen to the Don'ts.
Listen to the Shouldn'ts child, the Impossibles, the Wont's.
Listen to the Never Haves, then listen close to me.
Anything can happen, child, Anything can be.

-Shel Silverstein
